Custom Paulsons?

In the past I have heard that you can only order custom Paulson chips strate from GPI gaming with a minimum order of 250,000 chips. I have also heard that if you order strate from GPI they only offer you the mold, edge spot pattern, and colors of the new James Bonds for your custom chips. I was wondering if anyone else new of a way to get custom Paulsons without ordering in such big bulk.

Heres the link to the site for the custom paulsons (Bottom of page): http://www.trademarkpoker.com/paulson.asp

Re: Custom Paulsons?

Someone might know for sure, but I am almost positive that trademark is the only link to getting custom Paulson's because GPI doesn't want to deal with anyone but them. Also, I think the minimum might be 500K now.

Re: Custom Paulsons?

Pretty much the only way is to buy a set like the jb's or trademarks, etc and slap your own labels on them.

well, the wording is exactly the same as it was a year ago, when the pharoh group buy began. so, yeah, it's tough, and yeah, it may have changed since then, and yeah, they don't really want to work with regular guys.

but it's not impossible.

edit: and another thing...let's not compare asm with paulson. paulsons are much better chips, and the pharaoh's sold at a GB price at least 10% below ASM. the edgespot/color thing is a legit issue to which i have no reasonable reply...

Re: Custom Paulsons?

What should I go with then.

1. Customizing my own chip mold, edge spots, and inlay with ASM's.
OR
2. Customizing just the inlay and getting preset molds and edgespots with BlueChip.
BlueChip seems to be the nicer chip and has great molds and edgespots, but I would have to wait 3-5 months to get my order. ASM are still nice chips and their cheeper, plus they have more options with customizing mold, edgespot, etc. What should I go with?
ASM or BlueChip

Re: Custom Paulsons?

Paulsons had always been on a higher level than ASM. Its like driving a dodge for years and then hoping on to a Mercedes. You will know where the difference is.

However, given that u do not have choices on the body color, edge spot variations, and paying an arm an a leg for, i would consider ASM a much better deal.

Also, i dont recommend Blue Chips. There feel is good, but their inlays lack BIG TIME. Almost all my blue chip samples have inlays in the shape of a football. They cannot get a circle for some reason. Buy it at your own risk.

RIght now, ASM is the only Clay chips that you can have customised with good variations

Re: Custom Paulsons?

IMO if I were you I would jump on the custom ASM order now with the special spots. You will be getting awesome chips that will probably not be offered again.

Re: Custom Paulsons?

What about custom T.R. Kings? Or should I still just stick with the ASM's?
