Anyway, here's try #2. I'm not a fan of ceramic, but I'm thinking more and more this is one where an inlay on clay won't do it justice.

I believe I was the one who suggested the Ceramics in your last thread.

I agree, need to round the Chicago to matach the top fonts but I bet that was just done quickly by you. Now these would look nice.

What's your plan? Would they all have that background and same color font? Or will you change the color of the letters for each denom? In other words, you know how $5 are normally red and $25 green, etc. Do you plan to make some kind of distinction other then the denom itself? Maybe the edge of the chips? Just curious.

Since my original (and still hopeful) idea was clay... I was going to go with standard chip colors for denoms and keep the font yellow since that is what the wrigley wall looks like. I didn't think about if I went to ceramic how I would differentiate the denoms. I have emailed the cubs org. to see if there is any permission I can get to use trademarked stuff just for personal use. I would then use different designs for each denom.
