Rounders label on tri-color a/k chips?

Sticker on nexgen are always hot... But i'm looking to put label on my tri-color a/k chips... I tought about the rounders style...

Will it be a hit or a miss? Should i choose the bear or the chesterfield? I don't see a lot of labels on those chips.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Rounders label on tri-color a/k chips?

I don't think the A/K chips have a recessed center, thus I'd be hesitant to label these. If you do decide to label these, then I think the rounders label looks better.

wow thanks a lot for the photoshop sample

exact, they don't have recessed center, so it is not easy as nexgen

I think the Chesterfield label looks better on those. My brother labeled a 300 set of those for a cheap small cash game setup. So far their holding up decently. They will show signs of wear and the chips slide a little bit on top of eachother probably cause of label contact.

Chesterfield, all the way...

I always liked the design on those chips. It's a great "poker club" custom design.

Unless you have an affinity to bears.......everyone will ask you the same question, "What's with the bear?" If your only answer is, "It looked cool in Rounders." Ehhh...

Go with the Chesterfield. Plus, those colors match the chips a little more.

Re: Rounders label on tri-color a/k chips?

gueb I labelled a set similar to this a long time ago. I have since sold that set and they get more use than when I had them. The paper labels are still looking really, really, nice. Now this guy is a prick when it comes to having drinks, food, etc around these chips, and the table, so that has a little bit to do with it. Plus not many of the guys he plays with are shufflers, so they pretty much just sit in stacks while in play.

But if I were you I would get in touch with Jason at PersonalPokerChips, or Cin0s3 and get them to make Vinyl labels for you. I think then you would probably never have to replace them, even on this style of chip!

Re: Rounders label on tri-color a/k chips?

I suggested the Rounders graphic as it didn't clash with the individual chip colors as much as the Chesterfield graphic does (to me, at least). Maybe if you change the Chesterfield colors to match the particular chip color (e.g., green burst on a green chip, red burst on a red chip, etc.), then I'd agree w/ the Chesterfields over the bears.
