Does anyone know what the deal is with Blue Chip inlays? The inlays on the samples I received are so out of round and run up on the edge of the chip, that they look cheap. Has anyone had experience with a custom order? How did the chips turn out?

I contacted them a while back about getting some custom chip and they sent me the samples. All were Bond and Vegas chips. How did the ones you had done turnout?

We are still waiting for the Samurai chips. There is no denying that the two chips you mentioned are pretty bad. From my conversations with Dave Endy I was under the impression they were not doing small custom orders any longer so I am a little surprised to see this post in that regard. You will notice quickly that BC doesn’t get much respect around here but I am not of that mind. I would recommend getting samples of Nevada Jacks Clays and the Mardi Gras from Holdempokerchips.com for a better example of what they are producing these days. My understanding is that they have changed there equipment and the way the produce the chips somewhat recently and the dramatically miss aligned inlays are no longer an issue. That is not to say that I expect BC to produce the inlay perfection of ASM, who exceed any reasonable expectation IMHO, but it is to say that they do produce some very nice chips these days.

Thank you for the information. It was probably a year ago that I contacted them and their policy may have changed since then. The quality of those samples is what really turned me off and I did not buy anything back then.
I was just revisiting the possibilities because I need a cash game set.
Happy New Year and thanks again.
