Need Inlay Advise

Here is a quick and dirty mockup I did with a variation of the House inlay. Let me know what needs work, I don't know what to do with the H in the Background. I might go just Black and white and make it a gray color on all or work on trying to make it look better with the black background. Maybe make them a real light shade of the color. Anyway, any help is welcome. Thanks

These are also the chips I would like them to go on subject to any changes in the ASM buy.
The grey chip will be a 25 cent chip, didn't have time to mock that one up yet, as I have to convert the $25 chip to 25 cents.

Re: Need Mockup Advise

OK I know it hasn't been very long but nobody has any comments. Like take out the H or leave it in and tweak the color. I already realized the Private Cardroom part is too small and will increase the size untill it's as long as the design underneath it. Will post a new mockup shortly.

Edit to add mockup

Re: Need Inlay Advise

Not too bad looking, I like how you have the setups and graphics, just not sure of the color, esp on the middle diamonds and H's. Was a neat idea to have them match the color of the chip, but the black's diamond/H has dissapeared. Maybe pic a nutral color to be put on all the chips, or mabye go with a spot color for them?

Re: Need Inlay Advise

those look very schweeeet
I'm wondering what a black background label will look like on a chip. Would any white ring (due to the label edge) be visible? I know these labels are really thin, but just wondering....

BTW, excellent mod to "The House" inlay, glad to see the diamond back in the middle of the label.

Re: Need Inlay Advise

Well since the Black Sands project has ground to a halt, and I have since chosen to stay with my Pharoah's with some new Egyptian's plaques for my tourney set I wanted a black inlay set still. So I wanted to try it with the house inlay. I think it looks good but wanted a little feedback. I will try matching the spot colors with the H. That should be light enough colors for it to stand out. Hopefully the ASM buy goes well and I can post lots of pics when they come in.

Also, wanted to ask this. I'm not the biggest fan of the red chip above. I was thinking of going with a regular 312 ASM for this one to get a color combo I liked better and its not that different, little wider spot size.

Would a Red base color and black spot color work, I like this combo and I really don't see any $100 chips being in play in our games, I want some just because I love that black chip and probably won't get any if its changed to 414-2 but I don't care was only getting 50 or less. What other colors would look good with the other colors in this set?
Thanks

I like your color choices overall. In answer to your question above, I like the red chip as it sits in your mock-up. But I could also like it with black spots. (Yes, I'm an indecisive Libra, so sue me. ) In either case I'd stay with the smaller spots to let the red body color stand out as much as possible.

Re: Need Inlay Advise

Love the inlay by the way.

Not sure how the diamond bar in the middle looks in white though. Maybe trying mixing to different colors such as the spot colors or 2 different shades of the base color.

Obviously, I like the H in the middle but with the black background, I'm not sure how its going to work with the other text being lighter. The original intention was to be a subtle watermark but that might be more difficult with a black background.

I do like the black background just not sure how it will work with some of the design elements.

Here is a variation by davidr2340 that might be helpful for some ideas as he uses a mostly solid background.

Re: Need Inlay Advise

A red chip with black spots would look cool I think. I kinda like the look of a red chip with Orange spots too (not dayglo orange, but the base orange).

Re: Need Inlay Advise

It looks sweeeeet. I would maybe change the "H" on the $1 to white and $100 to dayglo green. Or, what about changing the "H" colors to match the edge spots. $1-white, $5-yellow, $25-pink, $100-green?

I like the "H" mold!!!!
