I had an idea recently for this chip set. Every sin would be on the corresponding colour with the corresponding animal with the contrary virtue on the back. I've included a couple of quickly/poorly done mock ups. Any comments, suggestions or ideas anyone has would be apprectiated.

Pride -Horse - Violet
Envy - Dog - Green
Anger/Wrath - Bear - Red
Sloth - Goat - Light Blue
Greed - Frog - Yellow
Gluttony - Pig - Orange
Lust - Cow - Blue

I think the concept is really cool, but I would never use the images that you are talking about to be quite frank. This could be done a few different ways and this is not one that I would have thought of...

I would think it would make a neat set... but are you planning on putting denmoms on them also?? And I would deffinately look into some better pics for the animals. Try to find a matching set somewhere, somewhat comical like the Buddy Jesus.

the idea is sound, and could make for a very subdued looking set. similar to the samurai chips, im envisioning. good luck with the idea.

Do you mean you wouldn't use animal pictures or Buddy Jesus at all? If so I'd be curious to hear what else you had in mind.

I would probably not use denominations but I wouldn't necessarily rule it out either.

Both...

#1 that style of picture doesn’t look good on chips imho...
#2 I don’t think the animal idea makes much sense.
#3 the buddy Jesus isn’t offensive but I could see how some people would think so; more importantly it's the same thing as the animal pictures for me. That kind of image doesn’t work well on chips and I don’t think it’s the right approach.

On that note this is something for you and just because it doesn’t make sense to me doesn’t mean it’s not right. Obviously the whole issue of the 7 deadly sins is something that can be articulated in various different ways depending on your perceptions...

I did a little resurch and come to find out that the sins are actually linked to animals and colors... You will have to excuse my Pride...

I actually had this idea a couple months ago because I thought sin "avatars" would look pretty cool. Like comic book type images of a person that would represent the sin. Like a fat dude for gluttony, a hottie for lust, etc. I just couldn't think of where to get these and I certainly don't have the talent/time to make them (sloth). Anyway, I think that would be cooler than the animals, but your set should be exactly what you want.

If you could find the right pictures that would probably look better.
