ASM Chips and Labels Mockups - Thoughts?

Below is a mockup of an ASM label and chip color/edgespot design. Just looking for any feedback that any of you may have. Thanks!

Very clever, I like how you pulled off the mirror effect. I guess its a pseudo-palindrome. The side with the straight wording, looks a little stiff, but I'm not sure arched type would work. Overall, great job!

the $5 and the $500 look very similar. I would get samples of each color before ordering.

Re: ASM Chips and Labels Mockups - Thoughts?

Thank you for the thoughts!

The "MAYHEM" on the non-denomination side is an ambigram. I have tinkered with the "POKER" on that side being laid out arcing on the endge of the label. I will do one up and post it.

For those who are wondering, I did the ambigram by hand first, the in AI with a calligraphy brush, then outlined it with the pen tool to make up for my shaky mouse when doing it by hand

Luckily "MAYHEM" is an easy word to do an ambigram of!

Here is a sample of the non-denom side with the "POKER" wrapped around the label, and one with it removed completely.

Re: ASM Chips and Labels Mockups - Thoughts?

Sweet looking inlays, I like the curved poker on both sides. I agree that the $500 looks like a $5 chips after a hundred wash cylces, just a little faded, but overall nice job.

Re: ASM Chips and Labels Mockups - Thoughts?

Thanks for the comments!

I am mocking up a set of ceramics as well, I cannot decide between the two

I changed the "YH" a bit on the ambigram too. I will post the ceramic mock ups later tonight.

Thanks again.

Did you get the Ambigram idea from "Angels and Demons"? Some cool ambigrams in that book.

Re: ASM Chips and Labels Mockups - Thoughts?

Ditto on the $5/$500. Since it looks like you're going with traditional casino color/denoms, I'd go with lavender or purple for the $500.

Nice inlay. DaVinci code-ish. Or was it Angels & Demons?
