Chips: 533 | | Need your help voting for my custom La Hacienda Chip Ok, I have posted for the last few days over in the Custom Gallery forum. I think this forum is better suited for what I am trying to do though. Please vote on which chip design you like the best (the actual chips will not be all yellow obviously).
And like I mentioned in the previous thread, if anyone really helps out with the design I will throw them a few samples when I have these made. Let the voting begin.
Thanks,
Gabe |

Chips: 1,340 | | | Re: Need your help voting for my custom La Hacienda Chip I voted for number 1. It's clean, simple and has a nice retro feel to it. But of course it's missing something that some of your other mock-ups include. So what about using the #1 design as the front of your chips, and putting a larger version of Carlos, by himself, on the backs? That way you keep the great look of chip #1 but can also keep one of your other design elements.
Just a thought.
Great chips though, and a great story about what the design represents.

Chips: 80 | | | Re: Need your help voting for my custom La Hacienda Chip I think that the black backround in D is a great contrast to the red. But it doesn't go with the tone of the chip >.<. Nonetheless, I like D best. |

Chips: 129 | | | Re: Need your help voting for my custom La Hacienda Chip I voted for B. I like the overall look however it might be a bit crowded with the "est 1978" in there also.
If it were a choice between the dark backgrounds, I would choose D. I don't care for the person as a watermark behind the demon. It looks better being prominently displayed.
Great overall design! |

Chips: 606 | | | Re: Need your help voting for my custom La Hacienda Chip B on one side, A or C on the other. If C, keep "est. 1978" in black or else I think it interferes too much with the denomination. Beware of limitations on the printable area. It looks to me like the printing comes very close to the edge which may not be technically possible. Don't use C without B on the other side. The grey outline is confusing without the full colour version on the other side.
A white front/black back could be interesting (kind of day/night theme - which is interesting for a restaurant), but I think it will be difficult to find colours that fit both. White inlays are better on dark chips, black inlays are better on light chips. This colour happen to go with both, though.
