Opinions on ASM mockups

Hey guys, I'm trying to get together my ASM mockups so that I can order my custom ASM's (woohoo, 3d14, never would have gone ASM otherwise).

Here are two versions of what I am looking at which do you like better? Any suggestions? They will be denominated from left to right 25¢, $1, $5, $25, $100, $500 (pretty standard color structure). I'm still working on the inlay.

Thanks.

Re: Opinions

It looks funny to me to have dual edspots on the 5 and single on the green only to go back to black. Maybe have dual spots on the green of chocolate and black?

Anyway looking good!

This set will actually be two (semi-) separate sets. A cash game set of 750 chips of the $5 and below and a tourney game set of 750 chips of $25 and above. The $5 could _occasionally_ make it into a tourney game, and the $25 could _occasionally_ make it into a cash game, but I don't expect either to happen very often.

I don't really want the cash game set to only have solid and 312, and I don't really want the tourney set to be all 3d14. I also didn't really want to have anything other than fractionals be solid, so that leaves me with 5 denoms to be spanned by 2 spot patterns (312, 3d14).

Based on that I am kind of putting a line between the $5 & $25 as far as edgespot progression goes.

Make sense?

Re: Opinions

I wondered as well, but your explanation makes perfectly sense.

I like the top version better. The contrast between edge spots and background colour is higher that way.

I'm not completely wild about the $25 and $100. The low contrast between spot and chip makes the $25 somewhat dull. When you occasionally bring it into a cash game it would be slightly of out of place with its very low-key graphics. I would consider a lighter colour to brighten it up. On the $100 it's the red that bothers me. Maybe also here consider a lighter colour.

TT
