Chip color opinions

Well, I believe I'm going to start designing a clay cash game set and here are the colors with the denoms 25c, 1$, 5$, 25$. Any opinions would be great.

Re: Chip color opinions

IMO I don't really like the 3 pink edge spots. I prefer them being different colours in order to give every chip a different look. I also prefer the conventional chip colours. If your serious about buying a set, especially from a custom manufacturer, I would take some time and go through the custom chip gallery and have a look at what other people have come up with. That is if you haven't already.

Thanks, i also noticed the 3 with pink edgespots threw things off slightly i may look into fixing that to where all have pink edgespots or all are differently spotted. I've been around on the forums for quite a few months now as a guest but never bothered registering until recently as I'm somewhat craving a new chipset ha. The chip colors themselves i do not want to be conventional in any sort of way. white blue red and green just dont interest me. What does interest me is the possibility of colors that would go well with a designer pattern as the inlay background... possibly burberry, louis vuitton, or gucci. I want these chips to be pretty flamboyant its more entertaining for me that way.

They're you chips, so of course it's all up to you. I don't think the brown chip balances well with the others, personally. I think you definitely want to vary the edgespots - it could be difficult to read a stack of chips from the side if the edgespots were all the same color.

Welcome to the forum, btw. Plenty of room for more posters here.

Re: Chip color opinions

Also another thing to think about too is try to stay away from alternate colors like a blue chip with pink spots and a pink chip with blue spots. It may be difficult to distinguish the two when stacked together.
