Input on first try at custom chips

If I do this I'll be using the ASM double edge spots. I really liked some I've seen posted and hope this is Ok to use a similar idea.

I had no idea how to include the "A" mold in my drawings so I didn't even attempt it but that is most likely what I'll be using for the mold.

dark green body with chocolate and pink edge spots

black body with yellow and light blue edge spots

purple body with grey and light green edge spots

yellow body with orange and lavender edge spots

The "B" in the inlay would be a the color of one of the edge spots lightened to something like 10-15 percent. Like how Steve did his "S" but slightly more noticable. The denomination would be the color of the other edge spot with a fine black outline.

I wanted to keep the colors standard 25=green, 100=black, 500=purple, 1000=yellow. I was also trying to not use edge spots that were the same as another chips body color. In the end I may have to but I wanted to try it atleast.

Any input would be appreciated.

Re: Input on first try at custom chips

Well shoot, I guess if a moderator see's this go ahead and delete it. looks like I did something wrong in trying to host the pics on imageshack.

I created them in CorelDraw and exported as jpg so i thought it would work. I was even able to email them to myself at home so not sure what it is.

Sorry about that,
Brad

E-mail me the pics and I can put them up on image shack and edit them back into your OP.

Re: Input on first try at custom chips

Got the e-mail - but couldn't open the pics - format not recognized.

Post the color combos - and I or someone will surely post a Chip Factory screen shot.

Re: Input on first try at custom chips

It wasn't the color combos I was interested in getting opinions on but rather the inlay. Wasn't sure if it was to plain yet to hard to read. I'll see if I can figure out what's going on.

Thanks for trying,
Brad

EDIT:
Called my sister who kows more about this crap than me and she walked me thru some stuff. For some reason I had to open each chip design in CorelDraw, then export as TIFF, then open in Photoshop and save it even though I didn't make any changes. After doing that I uploaded them to ImageShack. You can atleast see them now but they're still not opening a new window like everyone elses seem to.

I like the color combos but you might want to try and different font.
