What happended to the cigar & snifter post?

I'm just curious what happened to TenPercenter's post from a few days ago pointing out the news that the cigar & snifter mold was available for custom chips?

Re: What happended to the cigar & snifter post?

I think the price quotes were on the high side by many people's standards, but that was the whole point of my question: I know there were several responses I didn't get to read when I skimmed the forum the other day and first saw the post, now it's gone and I don't have the benefit of the opinions posted.

Re: What happended to the cigar & snifter post?

i would assume that it would be on the high side only b/c of what the InPlay's were going for on buypokerchips.com. they might even be a little on the lite on the weight side, but i really like the mold and they seem to have alot of colors to play with. i wonder if they would offer other edge spot combinations? did ten mention who this was through (directly through blue chip maybe)?

i haven't been able to get into the paulson's new home mold. i would have thought that locking all their home chips only one set of colors would have been enogh protcetion without changin the mold on us...oh well. it looks like alot of people will be waiting till the new year to see what all happens. the ASM edge spot announcment was pretty nice to hear, hopefully we'll keep getting more news like that...and not news like matsui suddenly can't produce a good clay chip.

keep me posted if you hear anything!

--thanks--

Re: What happended to the cigar & snifter post?

I believe Ten pulled that post due to a mis-communication between us. I gave my support for the post, and didn't communicate it effectively to him. He thought I wanted him to pull it. The issue has been resolved and he said he would re-install the post, so it should be in here somewhere.

Excuse the self-promotion (should be allowed as this is essentially just a repost of what Ten already posted)

Thanks Steven, but self-promotion is still not allowed.
