Chips: 1,142 | | | TR king Inlay can someone here give me some input on the quality of TR kings inlay and how different they are from ASMs. ASMs tend to frequently have off-centered inlays and prints. Wandering if TR kings experience this as well |

Warewulf and some of the others form the earlier TRK group buy will probably chime in. So far everyone I've heard from who's gotten TRK has been very happy.
I'm in early stages of a custom job with them FWIW. |

Its almost impossible to tell where the inlay stops and chip starts. You won't feel any difference between the chip and inlay until you hit the crown mold. Personally, I like this. |

I like their edge spot availability but not too fond of the mold design. If the inlay is of high quality it will certainly make up for it. Vice versa, i think ASMs have very nice mold and colors but they lack the quality in their inlay. |

ASM positions their inlays dead center.. and in the same direction compared to the edgespots. There is no quality problem with their inlays compared to any other compression molded chip I've seen. All of them are going to have slight variances due to the nature of the beast. If you want completely uniform graphics, you're buying a ceramic chip. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
