Hi Im already in contact with PC.com and will order 1000 chips, and need input on how my chips should be..

my idea is to have different poker starting hands on one side of the chip and the backside of the deck on the other, 7 different chips, 1,5,10,25,100.500.1000. no edge spots on 1,5 and 10 and edgespots on the rest to have some variations since pc.com doesnt allow different edgespots..

following starting hands..

1 = 72o
5 =qjo
10= a8o (deadmans hand)
25= 1010
100=aks
500= kk
1000=aa

Its not necessery a hand ranking, yust wanted variation, and the different hands are pretty much set..

Im not a designer and need input on what you think could be improved.. have not yet decided on a mold.. like the horsehead.. but it is a bit strange to have little horses on your customs.. .. well here are some initial mockups..

Looks like a good I dea, but is PC.com going to let you use so many different inlays?
The script text is really hard to read.
Also think there are to many different colors of text.
Do not like the purple cards either, what about using actual card backs? Like Kems, Copags, or whichever back you like the look of the most.
You may have to lose the text denom as well because it gets to small on the 1000 I think.
Just some of my thoughts and suggestions, but so many others on here can help you more than me.

Good luck and let us know how it goes and if PC.com does allow the different label on each chip.

Took a second look and the chip seems kind of crowded as well.
Have you printed them out at scale?

I'd suggest that the denomination and the spelled out denomination be in the same color. It would make more sense I think.

Agree with babujit1 that these look a bit crowded. But I do like the graduated hand ranking concept, nice touch.

I like the idea of using starting hands that follow the chip values. Are they going to charge you an additional art set up fee for each change on the inlay? If so, you might consider asking if they can match the background to the chip color.

I don't care much for the script font, too busy overall in my opinion.

For the main font (or logo etc) you can use fancy script fonts but you should not do this for the secondary font (etc poker room, lounge, card room, etc). Secondary fonts should be something simple like Arial, Bankgothic, or so and the spacing of each letter should be given adequate space. Remember, ASM inlays are very small.

I like the design you have..but i agree with the others. The middle is a little to crowded..and the font is a little large. I like all the colors exept for the edgespot on the yellow but thats just personal preference anyway. Lavender -Arc yellow is one of my favorite combos. I would go with either Ariel or Verdanna for the Secondary font

also, i dont recommend using pocket AA on your logo. Its just too common. Use the 2 cards that won u your first tournament or first hand.its more meaningful this way
