Choosing a Mold POLL

Edit: Looking to get a Classic Casino loook to the chips.
Trying to decide on a final mold design for my custom ASM chips.
There will be edgespots, but just need mold help.
I have a preference, but would like to see how you all feel about the molds.
Please vote and thank you in advance.
Albert.

Re: Choosing a Mold POLL

Of your choices, I like the horse-head mold the best - it makes the best and most symmetrical use of the space between the inlay and the edge. My favorite ASM mold is the Roman mold, but apparently that mold is not GOOD enough for you.

Re: Choosing a Mold POLL

I like the H mold best, only because the horsehead is used so much lately.

Re: Choosing a Mold POLL

You have AE on your chip so I assume A is your first initial. A-mold is clearly the correct answer.

It's not that its not good enough. The feel of it is just so different then A and HH mold.

Re: Choosing a Mold POLL

1. Circle Square
2. Horsehead
3. H Mold
4. A Mold
5. Roman
6. Dice

And I'd never order the last two.

Re: Choosing a Mold POLL

At first I liked the H mold, but not so much after seeing it on a chip. It seems like it's pressing in on the inlay. I think it would be much better if the mold were more centered in the space available.

I'm gonna pick the A mold. Less dense than the HH mold, and less restrictive than the H mold.

Ditto!

Though I do like the H-mold.

I had to read this a few times and look at the pic to figure out what you were talking about. Brain no worky today.
I never thought of it that way before, but I know what you mean. I do not think it helps that all the molds are protruding instead of being recessed either. I would have fixed this but really have no idea what i am doing.
