New chips needed for labeling

Ok still working on my buddys chips and labels and not sure on the chips tho,
been looking on ebay at the Nexgens but not really sure yet, I figured I would turn to the great wealth of knowledge from the chiptalk pro's. Could you guys make some suggestions on differant chips that are recessed to accept labels. Doing the marvin the martian theme and sorta wanting bright stand out chips ......But the price also matters somewhat.... Lookig to do 700 to a 1000

Many Thanks

Re: New chips needed for labeling

You might want to think twice about eBay as a resource for Nexgens. You can get much better pricing from established resellers including Jason (Hogwild) on Nexgens. You might also want to read Jason's (CinOs3, another Jason) article at http://chiptalk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11256 about labels.

The better chips for labels is pretty much focused on the plastic Hold'em chips and all of the Nexgen series. Insofar as compression molded chips, the blank chips on the Blue Chip flame mold accommodate a 1" label quite well. (nevermind, I just saw the concern about price, that would put the compression molded chips out of range.)

Re: New chips needed for labeling

I owna set of the NexGen 8000's. A very nice chip for labeling. Definitly do not buy eBay for these. Jason (Hogwild) had them on sale for .13 each. You can get a set of 500 for $65 plus shipping.

While they are not the best chip, they are a nice starting point until you can get a better set.

It's "Hog Wild" with a space. You might try emailing him from his site: personalpokerchips.com, for a quicker response.

Re: New chips needed for labeling

I ordered my Nexgen 8200's (very nice chip) and labels from Jason (hog wild). Great customer service. He responds to e-mails promptly and was easy to work with. I got the chips and am waiting on the labels (should be here any time now). He had a bad server crash that delayed delivery (I'm in no rush) but he took the time to let me know what was happening. He's a bit of a teaser though. When he updated me on the delay he told me my labels came out great . Now I really can't wait to see them.
