Chips: 223 | | How do You display your sample sets? I can see that there are a lot of people that purchase sample sets out there, and not all to go on to buy full sets.
How do people display their samples, or do you not. I have a couple of sets, and am getting more as they come out. I am looking at finding out what everyone does with their samples. |

I know that I might get some flack for saying this, but I don't really feel that the fantasy chips are collectable anyway so that is why they are just in a box.
Most of the chips that I have from real casinos stored like most collectors do.

Chips: 501 | | | Re: How do You display your sample sets? I have my samples in a chip rack on my desk in front of my monitor. That way I can easily just grab 10 of some particular type to shuffle/compare/showoff/etc. I also like having some of each kind around just for reference.

Chips: 164 | | | Re: How do You display your sample sets? I have bought Air Tite containers and easels to display some of my chips, as well as attempted to make frames with cardboard and felt(I however sucked at it and have since stopped). You can get frames from a few companies out there who cater to people like us. |

Chips: 501 | | | Re: How do You display your sample sets? I'd love to get that framed Egyptians set, it looks quite nice. Some other chips I'd like get framed - American Beauties and Samurai Palace. The rest (of readily available chips) are more... usual, and don't really need to be displayed so nicely. Maybe the Pharaoh's, too.

Chips: 27 | | | Re: How do You display your sample sets? The Gamblers Bookstore in downtown Vegas sells some really nice stuff for collectors. I picked up the suited frames for chip collectors. One is shaped like heart, spade, diamond, club. They each hold about 15 chips or so and look really nice. However, I have them in a drawer at the moment until I get my dream game room moving.
Its a great place to visit, any chip enthusiast would enjoy it. |

The only problem I have with the 'suits' frames, is that they each hold a different number of chips. Some hold 14, some 15, some 18 etc, but other than that they seem ok except for the diamond which looks weird. |

It seems that most people don't display their chips. |

I recently added one of those frames for the Egyptians. Otherwise, my samples are in three pokerchip cases so I have easy access to the various ones/sets.
