Chips: 62 | | | Are you bored? Then come up with some edge spot designs for my $5 chip.
I can't decide what to put on it.
Here is the base $5
And here is the rest of the set
There is also an orange $5000 that has the same spots as the non-denom.
Thanks! |

How about some variation on the 2x3 pattern since your doing a compression clay pastiche.
The chips look good my man. |

Or make the $1 plain and transfer over the $1 spots to the $5.
Looks great as is.

I have one comment - since chipco cannot match the edges to the face - I personally think the best looking chipcos do a edge design that is different enough from the face so that it works better and does not look like they mismatch. Same colors just not the same width and number of spots (or something like that).
As for edge spots for the $5 chip - I think two large edge spots that are a different color red will go well with the blank face - or no edge spots and do the denomination on the edge a couple of times - since are you are not doing edge denominations on the rest of the set that would not be quite right. |

Chips: 606 | | | Re: Are you bored? All of your chips have 4 or 8 spots, so it would probably be most congruent with the rest of the series to have a 4 or 8 spot chip. As the number of spots increase and/or get more complex with higher denominations, maybe 4 spots would be best. The $1 has 4 narrow spots, so the $5 could have 4 wider spots or 4 double spots. If symmetry is important, instead of ordinary double spots, you could use 4 spots like those on the $500 (which has . Or maybe like the one on the $1000 but with the middle stripe in the base colour (red).

TT | Interesting observation. I was going to say a 3X2 pattern would seem to fit but based on TT's comment above, I think a 4X2 (with 2 different colors) would fit nicely. Great chips, Lump. |
