Chips: 248 | | | As promised... the Player's Club chip (non-denom), v1. EDIT: As of 10/17, the third polling option was changed from "I would never buy any of these chips" (@ 16 votes) to what it is now. Several members commented positvely on the designs, but were strictly denom fans.
I asked for this polling change to so voting would be more conducive to selecting a final format.
Thank you Admin and everybody else for leaving your comments and suggestions.
As promised...
Something suave, something classy, a design that's sexy... the Player's Club chip, v1.
I felt that there were plenty of denom inlays for clays, but not enough non-denom designs out on the market. I wanted to create something slightly different from the traditional. I wanted to make it clean, yet eye-catching. Hotels and casinos are great, but I wanted to make this design a private club type of thing... members only. I hope I've been able to do this.
A mold hasn't been finalized yet, however I've used two different existing molds to illustrate examples. The first pic is of the TR KING mold and the second is an example chipset using the Blue Chip 6 flame mold from the Grand Island clay set.
For the first pic I've presented two different final designs for both a front and back inlay. Please vote on which you like better.
And finally, PLEASE be brutally honest and criticize me as much as possible. I will take all suggestions into serious consideration to make this design great. Edit: Please also remember to judge this chip in the area of non-denoms despite the fact you might have a preference for denoms. Thank you, and I appreciate your impartiality.
Player's Club chip: Please choose Row A or B for a final design.
Example chipset using Choice A...

Reason: to specify that this chip should be judged primarily in the non-denom arena

Chips: 934 | | | Re: As promised... the Player's Club chip, v1. That's a sharp design, but I voted that I wouldn't buy them because they're not my taste. I'm on the denom side of the fence. I do prefer the all black front over the matching color front.
So, don't take my vote as a knock, because I do think it's a nice design - just not something I would personally want.

Chips: 500 | | | Re: As promised... the Player's Club chip, v1. I would go with a mix of the two styles with a bit of a tweak. I like the black labels of row B but think you should emphasize the form rather than blend it into the black background. A good example would be the black chip from the bottom pic. The front of the chip has the feminine form in all its glory without any fading. If you took that image and changed the colour of the lady to match the chip it would look very nice.
My opinion on these chips varies though. While I like the curves on display, I doubt I would buy a set such as this. I like my denoms and have several ladies in our regular poker group. They might become offended (or not) and leave (and take their money with them). Nice work though.

Chips: 205 | | | Re: As promised... the Player's Club chip, v1. The figures are nice, and the font and layout is good. However I'm not sure having the background the same as the chip body really works in this instance. It looks a little bland. Perhaps a white background would look better? |

The American Beauties have a fun element to them that successfully tones down the sex in that design, whereas these are more extreme, and intended to be I guess.
Pretty stylish though. This black label on a bright chip thing is starting to grow on me e.g. Black sands. |

Chips: 1,577 | | | Re: As promised... the Player's Club chip, v1. I also voted that I wouldn't buy these chips... just a matter of personal preference. My first thought was that it seemed to draw a lot of design features (and maybe just the feel) of the Samurai Palace chips... while I realize it has other elements that SP chip doesn't (colour gradients, matching colours on back of chips), the feeling was still there.
I'd be more likely to buy the SP chips than these, and since I have no interest in that group buy, I couldn't get excited about these ones.

Chips: 9,819 | | | Re: As promised... the Player's Club chip (non-denom), v1. I preface with it's a nice looking design and having to choose between the two I'd go with A because the silhouette is too hard to see with rev. B.
Is it the infinity symbol behind her? Maybe there's reasoning with that that may make it better for me?
Don't know that I like Exclusive Membership as those that would see it would know it's exclusive.
I like "Player's Club" but is it Player's Club 277. I don't like Official Chapter on there.
I like the idea of the chip but it's just not my style I guess.
FWIW... here are some other fonts with silhouetts:
Babe-alicious
Comix Cuties
Damian's Sexy Silhouettes
Fuzzy Cootie
I think you can get them all at DaFont.

To be perfectly honest, I would only buy a sample set of these chips, not a complete set. My ASM circle square plains are my main set and I don't really need another full set.
I much much prefer the Blue Chip mold. I think that TR King mold needs to be retired. It does about as much for me as a dice motif mold.
I love the silhouette, I think that's well designed and graphically appealing.
There might be too many words around the graphic. When you see them huge like they are in your pics, the words are all legible, but will they be as pleasing when they are real size?
Is that a figure 'eight' behind her? Or the symbol for infinity? Hard to tell. Either way, it looks better on an angle as in row 1, but as noted, looks better on the all black background.
I do like these chips, but as noted I wouldn't be up to buying a whole set. Though they'd be nice to add to my sample collection.
