Inspecting new custom chip delivery

I just ordered 1200 custom hh pc.com chips. I was wondering if anyone here has a procedure they go through when inspecting the chips on delivery. Suggestions or things to look at like are they flat, any defects and the correct number, or just drool over them and try and get a game set up asap.

No, no, no, that's just crazy talk.

On delivery, you MUST:

1. Take 1 chip of each colour and bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.
2. Take 10 chips of each colour and put them in a tumble drier to 'break them in'.
3. Scan 1 chip of each colour.
4. Stack any remaining chips in an interesting and artistic way

then, and only then, should you take pictures and post them.

What are you, nuts? We can't wait that long to see pictures. AND, if you miss the earlier photo opportunities, you can never recover. You must proceed in a systematic way. You only get one chance to get this right!

1. On delivery, you MUST: Take pictures of the shipping container. Post Pictures Immediately (PPI).
2. Open the shipping container: Take pictures of the boxes inside. PPI
3. Remove the boxes from the shipping container. Take Pictures and PPI (TPPPI)
4. Open the boxes of the chips: Don't touch the chips yet. TPPPI.
5. Now remove the chips and stack them. TPPPI
6. Scan samples of each denom, and PPI
7. When you bake some: TPPPI
8. When you tumble some, be sure to Take Pictures both Before and After. (TPBA} and PPI
9. Oil some chips. Take Pictures Before, During, and After (TPBDA) this process, and PPI
10. Now, you're ready for the first game with the chips. TPBDAPPI.

So before the chips arrive, make sure you camera is in good shape, batteries charged, and you're able to upload and post pictures. You are not allowed to skip any steps or move from one step to the next until the pictures have been posted.

Failure to follow this procedure will result in forfeiture of your chips.

Honestly, I would expect more from you Strange. I thought you were a valuable member of the community. You forgot the chip oiling machine with oiled plastic BB pellets!

Okay, I've seen most of that. Let's take it one step further.

1) Take picture of the UPS/FedEx delivery man handing you your shipment.
