Here's my latest iteration of your racing chips. Let me know what you think.
I welcome comments, compliments and especially critique/criticism from anyone else.

EDIT 10/19: Redid text on back to "Great American Poker Race" instead of Grand Prix of Poker.

Those are really nice, I really like the design. I wonder if there is anything you can put on the top, in the background, to fill up that space. |

Also, the main denom (not on the car) is the important one, so even if it wouldn't be easily legible, I think a larger one would work out okay on the car. |

Chips: 9,569 | | | Re: Hey Big Kyle : Your Racing Theme Excellent... the matching denom on the car really helps make the chip for me. I'd have to see 'em printed out to decide on the colors but I definitely like them bright... good job.
Could also put your fav tracks on the back... thought I might prefer Charlotte Motor Speedway rather than Chapel Hill, NC on the back as another thought.
Also, might like just callin' it "The Speedway" at the top and maybe "Playin' in the Fast Lane" at the bottom??

Although I think they were wanting a more generic set. The "Playin' in the Fast Lane is a good suggestion, too.
Ultimately, the "text" suggestions I will defer to Kyle. The Speedway Casino was the name he requested - I tacked Chapel Hill, NC on the back on my own because he's a UNC Tarheel (BLECCCHHHH!! Heheh)..
Thanks for the feedback so far! |

Chips: 934 | | | Re: Hey Big Kyle : Your Racing Theme In looking at Chipco colors, it doesn't look like these would be able to be this bright.. I downloaded their color chart (from holdempokerchips.com) and may try to redo them w/ those colors.
Does anyone have first-hand experience w/ how bright Chipco's can be, and whether or not the chart on HPC's site is pretty accurate? | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
