I like them a lot! Then again, I am a sucker for labs... Color cordinations aren't my favorite but not bad either. Im not good enough to recommend anything better so i guess your fine. Nice chips!

The inlay looks nice. I'm not a big fan of the Roman mold though. I'd suggest printing out an actual size version of the inlay itself to see how it will look (i.e. text is legible, images are of sufficient size, etc.), before submitting it to ASM.

First glance awesome - I'll have some more time after work to look and comment in more detail - will they be done by ASM with their inlays or will you use labels?

I like them! The only change I'd make is on the wording at the bottom. I'd change the order around to No Puppies, No Leashes, No Whining. Flows better that way I think.

Re: New Lab Mockups, advice welcome

Nice dogs. I like dogs, not least labradors, but I'm not so fond of them on poker chips. Anyway, that's just a question on taste.

Maybe you should make the red on the $5 chip lighter so it better contrasts the black edge spots. The text in the bottom of the inlay is somewhat longer than the text in the top. That makes it very difficult to place the denomination in an optimal position. Possibly you could make the dollar sign smaller. Some people here have made the dollar sign smaller and placed it almost as a "superscript" in front of the numbers like this: . That has often worked out well, and it could work here as well. It would make the distance between the dollar sign and the bottom text bigger. The denomination font is quite wide, among other reasons because it's slanted, and it adds to the relative difficulty of placing the denomination in a visually satisfactory spot. Maybe you could try an upright, more narrow font.

There is some inconsistency in the colour of the denomination but maybe it's intended. The $25 chip has the edgespot colour as denomination colour, the others have the chip colour as denomination colour.

TT

Yeah, I'd keep the denoms at basic black.

Re: New Lab Mockups, advice welcome

They look great, but I would lose the dollar sign all together. Unless of course this is your cash set . I won't be playing if it is saving for my own ASM's.

JM - I agree I think that does flow better...
Matt - These will be inlays via ASM

I'm still not sure about the fonts all together....especiall the denoms.

Thanks for the input

Re: New Lab Mockups, advice welcome

A few comments -

Kim will shrink your artwork a little bit to get within the printable area of the inlay.
I like the order of "No puppies, No leashes, No whinning" better.
Consider shrinking the $ so it's not the same point size at the denomination.
I like the font but would be interested in seeing some others for comparison.
The color of the denomination matches the base color on all the chips but the $25 - consider switching it to green.
I would make the black lab the $100 chip - I have one and I like that picture the best and would want that one on the table all the time. But - they're your's so take it for what it's worth.
If you switch it to a black lab on the $100 - would you consider adding 40 to your order and I'll buy them?????

Keep us updated on your progress.
