Thinking about getting my own custom set of labels/chips, but I have less than zero skill with any type of photoshop work. Wondering if any of you great fellows could help me out.

I prefer Non-Denom's, and would love to have a set of chips with a Skull theme.

I also had a thought about getting a set with denoms that had a ying/yang inlay with the denom on top of it. Not sure how it would work out.

Sctrach that Ying/Yang idea, I think it would be to plain.

However, even though I know copyright issues would prevent it most likely, I would love a set dedicated to Family Guy!

Just contact the executive producer of the show and request permission to use their copyright. They may say no, but they just as easily may say yes. One of the guys in the wardroom of the last ship I was on was infatuated with the TV show Alias, Jennifer Garner to be exact, so he sent a package to the producer with some ships ball caps and stuff and told him how much we liked the show. Next thing you know we all received autographed pictures and a ton of Alias stuff. For my entire two years on-board the ship we were consistently sending stuff back and forth and several guys were invited to visit the set of the show and meet the crew.

Be nice and respectful and just explain your intentions - you love the show and would love to have a set of "Family Guy" custom chips made, there would be 500 chips total (or however many you want), they would not be for retail sale, they would be for your own recreational (i.e. non-commercial) use, and perhaps provide examples of the artwork you would like to use (if you know specifically which pieces). If you ask nicely and explain how you will not be using their property for your own commercial gain you never know how cooperative they may prove to be. Again, they may say no, but it is normally pretty hard to say no to a reasonable request from a fan - especially considering how you could just rip off their stuff but choose to do the right thing and ask instead.

Actually when I get home I'll try firing up the photoshop and see what skulls I can dig out. "Casino Evil" sounds good to me.

Thanks for the advice. Never thought of doing that. If I am able to come up with some good artwork for those chips I will definately sent out examples to the producers and let them know my plan. I never really thought about it, but since I wouldn't be trying to sell them or turn a profit on their copyrights they just might let me do it.
