Chips: 4,436 | | | Best Chips for Custom Inlay Clays? I'm beginning to have a preference and I'm curious to see what others think.
Considering the following factors in order of importance.
1) The order won't be more than 500 chips.
2) Quality of chip (including the inlay).
3) Price |

3) Price | Do you have any choices besides ASM? TR King has a 5k minimum, BC's minimum is 5k (IIRC), Paulson's is waaaay too big, and Matsui may not even be making clay chips for the home market. In any case, ASM has a good price, their work is professional and they stand behind their chips.
Or, you could hop in on the Black Sands buy, and get some TR Kings. |

Chips: 1,589 | | | I voted before seeing that your order will only be for 500 chips. I like both ASM and TR King and prefer TR King by a bit, but if you are going to only do 500 chips and you want customs without going thru the hastle / time of a mini group buy ASM is really your only choice.

Chips: 4,436 | | When it happens, my inlays are likely to consist of a family crest, so little chance of a group buy.
P.S. I'm the only child of a non-poker playing couple and the father of an only child 6 year old. And no other living relatives with my last name, so little chance of an in-house group buy either. |

Only problem is, since Matsui isn't making clay chips for the home market anymore, we are using TR King chips. I'm going to go rename the thread right now, it should be easy to find. |

Chips: 5,848 | | | TR King will make custom's in smaller batches but they are expensive (1.50 - 2.00/chip) depending on options. I've gotten quotes from Dennis at TR King in past but they may have changed this policy. |

That is why I said that ASM is really his only choice.
