Chips: 78 | | | ASM and the Horsehead Mold I have just started looking into ASM chips, and was wondering why the HH mold can not be applied to edge spotted chips without the inlay(the ones that are 55 cents) when everyone in the group buy got them? Just wondering, as ASM looks like an option for me, especially with HH mold. |

Chips: 4,244 | | The website is misleading, you can buy edge spotted HH chips without inlays, but you cannot buy plain HH chips without inlays.

Chips: 2,570 | | | Yep, you can, they won't even blink. I just ordered some, and, you don't even have to order a minimum of 300. They let me order only 150. Of course telling them I just bought 800 through the group buy might've had something to do with it. |

Chips: 2,121 | | I recommend the horsehead mold highly. It's perhaps the most pleasing feeling chip I've ever held!
You know something, during the devirginization of these chips last weekend, not one person, not even kids who don't know anything about pokerchips (read: me 6 months ago), even commented on the mold choice. They were all too captivated with the color choices and inlay graphics to even notice... which is what I assumed would happen. I say people who whine about the mold being horses should keep their comments to themselves until they see how well they work subconsciously while fiddling with them during a game.
Given that, anyone who has asked before and since the games has taken the explanation happily:
"The horsehead mold is legendary and still in use at many casinos currently. Probably because they look and feel as good as they do when you're playing with them." |

Chips: 1,137 | | | i have to disagree, i feel that the ROMAN MOLD is by far the best with the A-mold following second. In my opinion, it feels and is themematically more suitable than the H-head. The R-mold looks classy and is also used in Rounders (just the icing). The H-head mold sounds very clinkish to me. But again, this is just a personal preference. I agree that many do favor the Horsehead. |

Chips: 78 | | | If anyone has any pics of ASM spotted chips with the Roman mold, I would love to see them, as most of the ASM chips I have seen have the HH mold. |

Whoever equated wicker baskets to Rome is pretty silly. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
