Chips: 102 | | | I'm not real crazy about the sun chip, but I do like the other one. By the way, what does your screen name mean(circlencircle)? I also like the music on your website. |

Obviously the first two are the raw graphics, the second two are supposed to be actual chip mockups.
<snip> | I'm not really crazy about either design honestly.
The fonts don't work for me in Aces Up... The LV looks hard to read and the AU seems to be wraped like it's 3d'd leaning away... not describing it well but I don't like the look for this design... also the denom is covering the bkg graphic too much for me.
The sun is cute... main problem for me... also it's HUGE. The denom font might be better fitting if it was also "cute". I'm not sure about the blk background on a sun chip either. The wrap looks good but could be better for a ceramic.
The mockups are great and the designs are done nicely.
Not sure what/how I'd change so sorry for the mainly neg feedback.

Chips: 12,252 | | | They look nice, but are a little dark and hard to see. This may be a side-effect of posting them online, but I would try to make them lighter so the graphics show up better.

Chips: 515 | | | I really like the ace's up chip I like the color scheme and all around general look of the chip. The sun chip I don't really much care for. I think maybe if the sun was a bit smaller? I don't know it just seems to be overpowering |

Chips: 122 | | I like the sun chip.
I am tired of Aces, Dice, Gangster, high roller, las vegas, themed chips. That said I like the chip but I would atleast change the local to Lake Tahoe, Ely or Reno on the chip.
"Aces up" would be a beautiful name for a P38 or B17 |

Screen name - umm, this sort of came up once before. Basically it's a philosophy. The idea is something I have been trying to understand for years and is based from a few things but, the best way I can try and help you understand would be to show you this. The following is from another post where I talked about it a little. If the idea interests you I would say read the entire essay at some point.
EDIT- Oh, and thanks for the comment on the music. It was just me doodling around on the guitar but I like the mood it sets. Quote:
Like I said the idea behind the chip is that it represent the theory behind "circle in circle" - which in a nut shell is based on an essay written by Ralph Waldo Emerson called Circles. The first few lines of the essay read: "THE eye is the first circle; the horizon which it forms is the second; and throughout nature this primary figure is repeated without end. It is the highest emblem in the cipher of the world. St. Augustine described the nature of God as a circle whose center was everywhere, and its circumference nowhere.”... "Our life is an apprenticeship to the truth, that around every circle another can be drawn; that there is no end in nature, but every end is a beginning."
From here I would have to go into great detail to describe how each circle and layer between represents part of what is said in the above text... Obviously this has gotten to heavy already so I will leave it at that...
So here is the other inlay: |
