Scan of all ASM chip colours

I finally got a chance to scan the samples I have of the ASM chip colours. The dayglo peach is only on an edge spot on a purple chip, the rest they sent were solid colour chips. I arranged them in the same layout that ASM has on their web page, to make it easier.

I can see why they strongly advise against using dayglo colours for the body of the chips, they do seem more brittle, and a couple of them showed a little damage.

I also have a very large (26mb) uncompressed image that I can make available if needed.

Thanks for posting this. I received all but the dayglow peach, so this gives me a better look at it.

Here is a chart thanks to seymour. We dont have a full DG Peach. If someone has one please get us a scan. Also do we want to break this up to make it smaller or maybe spread it out some.

Seymour,

Can you verify that the orange and day-glo orange chips in your scans are indeed two different colors? In the scans, they are VERY close to each other, as seen in the A/B images I posted below:

Thanks.

The two colours in the scans are different colours, although they are very close. I wasn't even sure I had a dg orange at first, since they looked so similar, and I was expecting something much brighter like they show on their own chip colour page.

But, one is lacking the brass flakes just like the other solid dayglo colour chips I received (hard to see on the scans, you mostly see it on the edges). I think it was X-Files that first mentioned that the dg orange was actually pretty dark, one of his chips uses it as an edge spot. And the person that had the Teddy KGB chips made also had it as an edge spot, I don't think he was expecting it to be so dark either.

In the image you posted, the dayglo one should be the slightly brighter one with the extra chips taken out of the sides, right? I wish their dg orange really was nice and bright like that rest. I don't know why it isn't

Maybe other ASM chip owners could mention their opinion on the colour if they have dg orange in their set somewhere?

Seems to me that people would be better off using the Arc Yellow as a bright orange. Why have the DG orange at all if that's what it looks like? Strange.

I would use DG peach or Arc Yellow if I new DG Orange was so dark. It almost looks Burgundy on my Yellow/DG Orange chip.. Not what I expected but it turned out ok since I am a Washington Redskin fan.
