Chips: 2,121 | | I would assume this wouldn't fly. Trademark images are severely defended intellectual property, much more so than... video game characters.. |

Chips: 7 | | | Can anyone give me an idea on how to get around this then? I'd really like a nice set of clay chips with those teams. Would custom printed labels be the way to go?
I really don't have the slightest clue about this stuff....so any help is greatly appreciated. Sorry for asking stupid questions!! |

Chips: 594 | | | Honestly, that will be the most disjointed set of poker chips I've ever seen. There is no rhyme or reason or consistent theme.
I'm assuming those are all your favorite teams, so in the end, whatever makes you happy is all that matters. |

Chips: 22 | | | I have seen some custom labels with teams on them before and I believe that it is about your only way to go. I am pretty sure that PC.com will not let you us the logos.
I am not sure who can do your labels, but I know there are a couple of talented people on this site that make labels. |

Chips: 7 | | | I understand the pictures given probably make the set sound unorthodox, but those were just references to the teams. I planned on making the team logos watermarked in the back ground, and having something like "The Card Shack" and the denominations standing out more. Do you care to explain why the chip design would be so odd...I'm just wondering. I'm not really worried about the standard white or blue = low chip, black = 100$ etc. convention. Just want a nice looking set so my family and friends can play. More critiques, ideas and criticisms please. |

Chips: 934 | | | Mainly because there's no connection or theme, unless you consider "sports" a theme in the most general sense. You have a college mascot, a baseball team, and two hockey teams. Makes no sense to me. I would expect teams all from the same league, division, sport, or at least some kind of connection.
At least I think that's the point he was trying to make. That's my two cents on it, though.

Chips: 7 | | | Like I said, I'm new to this so any help is appreciated.
Do you have any suggestions for how to make this work?
I've seen video game characters on one side of the chip and a standard design with denominations on another. Would something like that look better?
Should I stick with teams from the same type of sport for the 4 or 5 different chip designs?
I know I'm asking a lot of questions and it's annoying, but I'm just trying to feel my way around. If I'm going to spend 1000$ on chips, I want them to look good and be functional. |

Chips: 7 | | | What if I went with 1000 Chips with 6 different teams? 2 Baseball, 2 College, 2 hockey. This would make it more uniform, and I am purchasing these chips with my fiance, so we would each pick our favorite college, hockey, and baseball team and work with it like that. I was thinking logo on one side and denoms and script on the other. I understand what your saying on the disjointed feel of the theme, but I'd really like to find a way around it and if you could help me out I'd appreciate it.
Thanks |

Chips: 934 | | | Well, bottom line, they're you and your financee's chips, so if you like them, that's really what matters.
Personally, I wouldn't do a sports theme. The only sports theme I can think that would make sense to me personally would be NASCAR, picking my favorite drivers.
Assuming you're in Florida, you could do all Florida pro teams - a baseball, football, basketball, and hockey. That might make sense.. But then, if you don't like one of the FL teams, it wouldn't..
I really don't have an answer for you as you're really the only one that knows what you'll like. I just know that for myself, a sports theme wouldn't work.
