ASM Cash Game Set- FINAL INLAY OPINIONS NEEDED

Aloha Chippers

Here is a mock up of my inlay's along with my color choices for a cash game set that ASM is producing for me. I am in the artwork process with Sandy at ASM and this is what we have come up with so far.

I have chosen my font color to match the edge spots on my chips. I am also having the background of my inlay match the body color of my chips. For the most part the chips look fine with the exception of the Lavender $2 chip the font color seems a little hard to read. Any suggestions on font color for this chip.

I would also like anyone's opinion on the $25 & $100 chips. What looks better for the font colors. For the $25 chip I think the d.g. pink font stands out better than the d.g. yellow. And for the $100 chip I think the white font looks better than the d.g green font.

Anyway all opinions positive or negative regarding font, body colors, inlay, inlay colors are greatly appreciated.

Here are the body colors along with the edge spot colors.

.50 - Gray 212 lavender
$1 - Blue 414 white
$2 - Lavender 314 white
$5 - Mandarin Red 312 D.G. Yellow
$25 - Lt. Green 3D14 D.G. Pink / D.G. Yellow
$100 - Black 4D14 D.G. Green / White

Tried to resize file as best as I could. Any help on making file larger for better viewing would be appreciated.

On the second mock up from ASM I had asked Sandy to put more contrast in the background to able to see it better. Sandy also mentioned that she added some shadow to the text so it would be easier to read. I'm thinking about changing the font color on the $100 chip back to d.g green. Let me know your thoughts.

Much Mahalo

Re: ASM Cash Game Set Mock Up-Opinions Wanted

Very nice setup. I like the details you've incorporated. Some of the text colours are definitely hard to read on the backgrounds though.

Looking at the mockups before reading your write-up I thought you were going with a two-tone $25 and $100 (front and back of chip having different text colours). After seeing you are going one or the other, I now wonder if that may be a unique option to think about?

I like the colors, but one thing:

I think the writing on the purple (or lavender) 2$ will be very hard to read ... just my thoughts!

Yes, I agree. I was wondering if ASM could keep the same color font but make it darker.

Nice inlay, nice progression. I really dig on the .50 chip. Nice combination. Good luck.

I agree with timmy and queen.. the .50 rocks, but the $2 is very hard to read.
Nice spot progression

Re: ASM Cash Game Set Mock Up-Opinions Wanted

I'd ask Sandy to increase the contrast between the suits and the solid background. In my mockup the suited background seemed to have enough contrast, but in the actual chips the light blue and gray inlays' backgrounds blended together too much IMO.

Otherwise, I think the color combos are excellent, especially the 50 cent, $1, and $100 chip. Nice job!
