I really love the green 3u, black and purple chips. Not sure on the yellow ,and hate the gray.

Just to let you know (since they were originally going to be hot stamps), you don't have to use their stock stamps. They have the TRK's as well.
Back to the inlays. If you don't have a black chip in the set it gets my vote. Quote:

I've been wanting to give BCC a chance to prove all the doubters wrong for a while now. Did some reading on smittys BCC thread and planned my set accordingly. At first this was going to be an edgespotted hotstamp set but the more I looked at BCC's stock stamps, the less I liked them. And I'm not about to pay $500 for custom dies. So I decided to go with inlays (yes I realize there's risk involved with that) since BCC, AFAIK, still has that $300 / 5 inlays offer going.
The chips will be heavyweights with the Grand inlay (that is equivalent to the 1 1/16", isn't it). I prefer the inlay to have a "connection" to the mold if possible. So, without further ado...
I'm pretty much set with the $100, $500, $1000 and $5000, but the $25 is causing me a bit of a headache. I just can't make up my mind about it. Below you'll see two alternatives I've mostly been toying with. So a little help there would be appreciated.
And now I pass the torch to you, fellow CT'ers. Let the commenting commence | |

It might not sit too well with the rest of the set being as colourful as it is. I'll have to look into that. Blazing orange or choc with some vivid spot colors, maybe...
And thanks for being so blunt. Usually I don't like it too much, but right now it was just what the doctor ordered .

Btw does anyone have BCC black and laker purple chips? How distinguishable are they from each other? In good lighting conditions I'm sure there'll be no problem, but that's not always the case, so...
If anyone has pics to post, I'd appreciate it. I've sent an email to BCC, looking to buy a sample set, but who knows how long that'll take... |

LOL! I got the same response from a couple of different people. The answer to your question is only obvious after someone says something.

Update... this time the cause of uncertainty is the mustard spots in the orange. Any thoughts?
No changes to the inlay yet. |

Buyer beware | I must say my favorite chip sets are all from BCC -- they simply rock IMO & not from warping.
I have not purchased any customs from them, maybe that's different, but at least for me, they are fantastic. |

No changes to the inlay yet. | Ok. I'm looking at these on a different screen now and must say, thoise mustard spots look pretty awful. So just imagine them as canary or saturn yellow | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
