Poker Knights ...

Bought a couple (5500) Faux Clays. Some of which we will use for our games the First Friday of every month. I have started dying some of them and am now working on labels for them.

I am going with the name "New Hampshire Poker Knights".

I like the overall layout, but am having trouble coming up with color combo's ... Although I think it would look fine, I didn't want to do them all in black and gold, like on the 5 and 25, but it wouldn't upset me too much if I did. Want to spend some time with the Missus so I didn't update the font on 500 yet (that's why its different than the rest).

Anyway ... I have mocked up some of the colors I have, but didn't have pictures of them all yet.

Here's what I got ... Would love to hear your thoughts and ideas ...

EDIT : It's fair to note that this set was inspired by the set below. I saw this posted here a long time ago and loved it. I saved the picture because I wanted to do something similar for myself. I think that the "Poker Knights" turned out quite different but you can still see the influence there.

Re: Poker Knights ...

Really cool logo and I think "Poker Knights" is a clever play on words. Oh.... and time spent with the missus is always time well spent.

Yeah ... they have started the debate as to whether or not to color up to a second color late in the tournament so they aren't pushing around such huge stacks. I am hosting this month however so, if I have enough distribution, I may push some colors on them like it or not.

Re: Poker Knights ...

Added the Gray 5000 and modified the design a little. Added a crown and got all the text on the same font.

Re: Poker Knights ...

I like the artwork and layout. I don't care for the crown, it just seems to clutter up the image. It covers up the sword point and sits right below the other logo. I think it works better with the original layout.

Very cool set though!

Re: Poker Knights ...

Great idea.

I prefer the all black and gold. I think the black contrasts the gold best.

Re: Poker Knights ...

The white and charcoal chips might look better with the greyscale inlay colors you show on the grey chip.
