Talking Big Blue poker room Mocks

I think I'm close to done with these.

Ceramics from Joe/PI, haven't made contact or submitted anything.

Used Inkster (Free) for a while, then went with Photoshop (Trial)

ChipTalk.net Factory was used too.

We usually use 25-100-500 chips for our games.

Thinking about changing the Yellow to 2k, and then Blue to 10k, or perhaps the Blue could be non-denom.

Edgespots will be chosen by PI, I assume they will match colors to chips at least.

Paulson inspired for sure Not sure if that will be a problem.

Was thinking about incorporating a theme... but figured it was easier to leave well enough alone.

Inlays, text and denoms were all hand placed, and might not be centered/aligned as best possible. Oh well?

Re: Big Blue poker room Mocks

I'm confused. Are your chips going to be clay or ceramic?

And JUST "Big Blue"? Go with "Big Blue Wrecking Crew"! You should know that!

Let's go G-Men, just make the playoffs!

They are going to be ceramics. They have clay inspiration, and it seemed easier to start with the Chip Factory, than design my own ceramic from scratch.

I'm not thrilled with poker room, I could swap it out for Wrecking Crew.

Barring a Met-like collapse, we're in... buy WTF are we gonna do once in? Can't beat Dallas or Green Bay at home, if we win the 1st, we'll never win the 2nd & 3rd.

I'm just hoping the Pats lose, so I don't feel obligated to head up and watch history....

Re: Big Blue poker room Mocks

The BBWC theme... seemed nicer to have wrecking crew along the top, didn't ever look right on the bottom.

Inlays were expanded. Chip image was cropped.

Denom color was copied from reddish edge spot. I used the chip base color and it kinda got lost...

Your thoughts on denom colors
a - blue
b - black
c - other consistent color
d - match blue edge spot
e - match base

Also still considering making orange into 2k. Goes against traditional casino numbering, but makes for a 4x prior value chip (better for big tourney). Also makes for a single rebuy chip ($20).

Blue chip... 5x orange chip, or non-denon.
I mocked up a non-denon with a ring. Could also pop a helmet instead. Did not think it looked good blank.

Along the way, I changed the yellow chip to orange. Easy change to make it yellow again.

I await your suggestions.... thanks for the help.

I don't know, I'm just saying ... why not just go with PI's clay chips? I know you won't be able to pick the edgespots or anything, but you can have faux shaped inlays put on their clays ...

No ?

I was holding out for a really sweet fully custom clay set... then I was going to get a decent set of china clays to tide me over... Joe/Pi has a 25 cent ceramic overrun sale... it's as inexpensive as the china clays. I assume that actual clays are more expensive than 25 cents each.
