Chips: 149.5 Bank: 0.0 Total Chips: 149.5 | | | My Fantasy Illegal Casino Chip Version 2 now going ceramic? I picked up some inexpensive Chips on E-bay. Here is what I am thinking about doing for lables with them, if I can get them made. I would hate to have to draw all new art work. I want it to be a continuation of my Castel Royal Theme. Added a new Green Deco back to see if it is liked better than the black and white. Everyone suggest that I should go ‘Ceramic’ with this chip. So I tried to put the concept to full chip face implementation. I didn’t like the result it is way to busy, but it took so long to do I decided to post it anyway. This is the toned down version by the way, not kidding. I will try to go even simpler and post it later. Full force deco
All Images removed until later Old chip face front with some suggested changes. Back. NEW BACK
Here is the link to my old Mock up, I am still going to have these made. http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/custom...sino-chip.html

I like the front labels a lot. The back looks a little to busy to me in all black and white.

Very nice, Art Deco all the way! I suggest you use the same image front & back, and just change the Castel Royal to St. Paul, MN. Makes it less busy.

The denoms are tough to see clearly. I would get them on on customs all the way.

Hey Timmy,
If you are still going to have one "Castle Royal" set custom made - maybe you do not need to do the stickers for this other set?
My opinion would be to do a different theme and inlay design for the stickers, make the customs your preferred design. But, its your design, and if want to continue your "castle royal" theme through more than one set - go for it.
I actually am in the twin cities as well. I often point out to others, what i call "gangster row" on lake minnetonka - a string of lake houses on a large bluff known to be owned by chicago "business men." I enjoyed your history on St. Paul casinos.
I have been considering doing a twin cities/minnesota/lake minnetonka/etc. custom set, but have been unable to formulate a winning design. I like your design, especially with the tie to real history. I prefer the back of your proposed sticker design the best.
Good luck, in design & at the table!

Beautiful! Very Alphonse Mucha. If you can make the denom stand out a bit more, they would be perfect. Love the artwork.

Nice design! Bold up those denoms and you've got a winner. (I also think you should go with the Art Deco women on both sides.)

Really good design. They seem very natural and they fit with the chips. Do you have a link to the chips on ebay?

I was about to say that they looked really good, except for one minor detail, but then jojo beat me to it.
Nice designs. Quote: |
