CNC.

Dude 3 and 5 blew me away. They look fantastic. I hope Magnus considers one or the other. I would like to see a 4 color pip too.

Pretty much a requirement for me as well -- which is why I designed the ChipTalk ambigram. "Protégé" might be a little harder to work with, though...

These designs are excellent. I love pushing the envelope in terms of design possibilities. And just so everyone knows, I've been offline for a few weeks now, but I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things shortly.

Still looking for great Joker designs...

The rest are pretty straight forward variations... I would think a number for them could be switched around to create alternate versions... I would also think Sidepot gaming would need to be worked in somewhere... Obviously these are pretty simplistic but I kind of like my cards that way.

EDIT - after looking at them all together I think the colors all need to be a bit brighter and maybe some hue adjustments but you get the idea.

They are all nice...but 5 and 10......WOW!!!!!! Please let it be 5 and 10!!!

Re: Protégé Custom Card Design!

Okay, I've been trying to figure out a way to have the Joker design fit in with the basic Protégé design, and I keep coming back to making it a stylized rather than a more "realistic" look. I toyed with ways to incorporate the cigar and snifter (including one pretty cool design sent by usedcars), but -- at least in my opinion -- I couldn't quite get 'em to work.

So I went simpler, trying to create a suggestion of a "jester" character made up of the style of lines and curves that surround the Protégé design.

Thoughts?

Re: Protégé Custom Card Design!

How about 2 jokers as 'supporters' (i believe this is the helaldric term) with the Protege shield in the middle.

Might be possible -- but keeping in mind that the Protégé logo is essentially a large Ace of Spades, it might be a little non-distinctive.
