Three Dogs Cardroom mockups

I was looking to make a nice dog-themed black-and-white label, and i think i didn't do that bad. Any comments? I'll apply these to Faux Clays.

I like the theme and the picture of the dogs is really nice. Your text across the top seems a bit too skewed and is hard on the eyes to read. I would maybe try a different font that doesn't get so hard to read after you put it in a circular path.

Great start!

I think you're onto a pretty awesome chipset theme here. I agree with Guma about the text - I'd try a different font. Nice job. The puppy standing on the baseball is priceless.

I agree with Guma on both points there, the text on top could be clearer and those dogs are beautiful. Do you have Boston Terriers?

Re: Three Dogs Cardroom mockups

I like the image of the dogs. You will definitely need to increase the size of the text though; try printing them at actual size for reference.

Are these going to be ceramic or clay?

Yeah, i'll get to a printer tonight, so i'll try printing these. I'm gonna make 1"x1" versions of the pics and edit them to look good smaller.

I'll label my Faux's with these.

Here's what I came up with. This is sort of the "tried and true" style...

btw, I just noticed I made "card room" two words vs. the way you had it "cardroom"... either way I think.

Re: Three Dogs Cardroom mockups

That looks pretty good. I think i have tried to do the text overly fancy, now that i look, that looks as good, but is probably much easier to read when it is 14/15".

My new design:
