Garage Poker Tour Custom Button!

What do you guys think about this design for a Custom Dealer Button?

I actually designed it myself!!!! I am taking an Adobe Photoshop/Graphic Design class this week and I did this in my spare time!!

Anybody got any suggestions??

My goal is to also turn it into a label to match my other design. I hope to get there different front designs to go with the uniform back design. I think it might look kinda cool?

I will add those as I finish them!

I think you'll want to do something with that text to bring it out. The black just blends in to the background and you can't see the words, even with that small outer glow on there. If you want me to whip something up when I get home from work, shoot me a PM. But it looks like you're wanting to design it yourself, which I think you definitely should, but I would change that text for sure.

looks good...ther outer glow on the bevel/emboss effect is nice...to make the black text stand out a little more...make sure the text is on its own layer..which it probably is...use the magic wand..then [shift]+[ctrl]+[i]...then edit>stroke..with center selected maybe 1 or 2px for the width and white as the color..this will outline your text white (thin) enough to make it stand apart from the background image...

looks great though...
IF you are using exact measurement you can export paths to AI that way it can be traced into vector in illustrator or whatever they use...
photoshop=raster.....not resizeable gets blurry
that is the closest coversion you can do to vector...resizable..that way your image can be manipulated to fit the media when they print it..

I like it. I also agree with everyone else that the text could stand out a little more.

Well the problem I see with it is that for a Garage Poker Tour it looks very, very classy! Great job! Changing "Dealer" to white or silver should make it pop and then you're done.

the white outline araund the black lettering will give you more contrast and make the letters stand out more...the grey kinda blends more than stand out
