I will be hosting my last weekly game this coming Friday and seeing Wedge Rock's great set of custom chips I decided to steal his idea (Thanks Wedge, no hard feelings hopefully).

The only problem is I don't have a nice design ready to go, so I need everyones help trying to figure out how to proceed. Gene at ABC has agreed to do them for me tomorrow and get them in the mail so they will arrive by Friday, so I am time-limited for finalizing the design.

Here are the mock-ups Gene worked up for me and I love the overall design:



The only real thing I think needs to be worked is the wording, the ones pictured are too cluttered (my fault, not Gene's).

I am thinking of something like this:

Line One: Final Game
Line Two: Todd's Poker Tour
Line Three: (SWO Pin Graphic)
Line Four: Department Head Class 188
Line Five: June 2006

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

When do you need these by? I am a little busy right now but I can try and work on it in the next few days. I'll probably go by the photo lab at work and see if they've got a higher resolution swo pin... That would at least be a start.

Although I appreciate your assistance immensely, I am under the gun and need the design by tomorrow morning at the latest so that Gene can make them tomorrow and get the in the mail by COB. The time crunch is my own fault, I didn't decide to try and do this until this morning and the game will be this Friday evening. Gene and ABC are going way out to hook me up.

Anything you can do would be great. I think I like the second one I posted. The ones in the first post are the ones Gene sent me and they are perfectly fine as far as layout, but I tried to have him put too much text in. The second one doesn't change the layout but drops text to try and make things look less crowded.

At this point I think the second design would suit my needs just fine, but I am open to any suggestions.

Is the colored area around "the inlay" that says final table part of their stock design that has to be there or do we have any leeway on it? Are you open to some slight adjustments on the over all layout including the colored area?

It is part of the stock design, but I am open to anything.

Why is this your Final Game?

What does this mean: Department Head Class 188?

It is the final game I will be hosting because I am moving my wife to Florida when we close on our house a week from Monday. I will still be here in Rhode Island and I am hoping somebody else will host, but I will not have anywhere to host anymore.
