This is the first time I've ever experimented with 3D. I tried to work with Maya last year but just ended up getting really frustrated and gave up. I decided to try again and started working with lightwave 7.5 a couple days ago...
Anyway, these are pretty crappy compared to what the software is actually capable of but I'm just learning.
If any of you are experienced with Lightwave I would really like to hear from you and maybe get some advice...

Pretty good for an initial effort. Keep it up, you look like you are learning quickly.

Thanks X... I haven’t forgotten about the Chip Factory BTW. In fact it’s what inspired me to start back with this 3d stuff. I think I should be able to use some of these images to create a good image to work with for the stacked chips... Will let you know asap...

You rock cnc. Those images are SWEET!!! Just imagine if something like this could be incorperated into the chip factory. I would never get any work done.
