Congrats and welcome to the longest wait in the history of waiting. Makes the DMV seem speedy.

Nice looking chips.

Re: Just started my order with ASM!!!!!!

Thanks. I went back and forth on solid versus spots about a thousand times over the past year. In terms of bells
and whistles and one-of-a-kind design, I love edge spots, but I couldn't resist the clean and uncluttered look of
solid colors. It's just the kind of guy I am.

The pic I posted is a lot less clear than the actual inlay will be. I printed some out at home with the appropriate
scale and the image was adequately defined. The coat of arms is actually one that I had designed by a guy
in Ireland who follows all the traditional conventions. Pretty cool process and VERY affordable. $45!!!

All I have left to do now is to decide whether or not to go with denoms and finalize the amounts of
each chip I'm ordering. I'd like to go with denoms, but I'm not sure how well they will fit with the graphic.
I'm waiting for a mock-up from Sandy at ASM to see how it looks.

Re: Just started my order with ASM!!!!!!

Hey Tripod,
After your post in the Showem thread I went looking for your ASM post. Very nice set. Elegant looking chips. I am in the process of designing a set of ASMs and, like you, will be going with the H mold. The first mock up I did was solid colors. Exactly the same ones you picked. Great minds think alike . I will probably go with spots on mine if I can come up with a good color combination.

Congrats on the set. Look forward to seeing (and playing ) with them.

Ranman

Re: Just started my order with ASM!!!!!!

Nice Chips! H Mold rules. Still waiting for mine out of the 1/4 GB.

Nice to see you back. You were the first person I remember discussing things with on CT.

p.s. I work in Allentown, and that's how I remembered you.

Re: Just started my order with ASM!!!!!!

Any chance that someone with more graphics skills than myself (not hard to do) could make me an animated gif that cycles through each of the chips. I'd like to use it as my avatar.

Re: Just started my order with ASM!!!!!!

Thanks to texred1 for the avatar.

Settled on the final design for the inlay. Went with just the shield to allow more visible detail.

Now just fingers crossed that I can get them by my ChipTalk tourney on 8/19.
