Re: Final Proof... lets get these babies rolling!!

Good looking chips - a couple of things I'd mention.....

1. I like the outlined crown - on a smaller canvas(3/4") the outline on the crown will give it more definition.

2. The black spots on the dark blue may not have much contrast and may be hard to see. If you are going for a subtle look I think it will work, but in dim light it will look like a single color chip.

3. The black spots on the dark purple chips, same thing....If you want subtle then you are good to go, otherwise in dim light.....

A great looking set though - I like your edgespot progression a lot - I'm sure you're excited.

BPT

very nice color choices and edges. i like it better w/o the outline, but at actual size it may be too hard to see w/o. maybe instead of an outline, try a slight shadow behind it.

Re: Final Proof... lets get these babies rolling!!

I can think of a commercial group buy that would do better to use the crown you've got than the one they have. I could quibble over some edgespot choices, but overall, a very nice look.

Good luck with them.

Re: Final Proof... lets get these babies rolling!!

thanks guys.... yes johnny...we like the Nationals...but wanted our own touch....
BPT... I know what you mean...but my wife likes a subtle touch... we had to split the colors...you know 1/2 1/2... i'm more wild with colors she is more settle.... So we will drop the outline on the crown...and try the shadow.. thanks...stank!

Re: Final Proof... lets get these babies rolling!!

Also agree that you should drop the outline. Once it's at the actual size it'll be so small that thin lines like that will only smudge up the image instead of defining it further. Not sure if you're going to alternate like on the second mockup, but i'd go with the gold crown on all the chips. It's really a snazzy crown, probably the best i've seen so far.
