My custom NJ's! (lots of pics 56=not a chance)

My customs arrived today! Woohoo!

The first thing I noticed about them, is that the injection point stood out a whole lot more than on my desert sands. Hmm, whats this about. I look at the DS's, and it's there, but it's the marble edge that hides it real well. Okay, that makes sense. So anyone looking to use Nevada Jack's for you customs keep this in mind when deciding between custom edges or their stock marblized ones.

Aside from that, they are exactly what I was looking for. I was a little worried on how the graphic I designed would look on the chip, because of the texture. The faint "R" in the background is what worried me. As you can see in the pictures, they look great. The graphic really did come out perfect.

The colors are spot on, with the exception of the 1000 which came out a little greener than I wanted. I will look at the original artwork and see what happened there. It might also be the edge spots that make it look greener than it actually is.

Anyway, on with the pics:

Individual pics

Misc Pics: (looks like I need to check out that 500 chip)

EDIT 10/26/05
I finally got my .25 and $1 chips. Here are some pics:

The graphics look much better than I thought I had heard about the NJ customs. Chips look excellent, have fun, I'll admit I'm a bit jealous.

Those look great. Enjoy.

Just for grins, do you have a copy of the initial design you posted on chiptalk? I looked at the thread, but the graphic is gone. I would like to see the beginning now that I can enjoy the final product.

Damn, it didn't seem like it took very long to get these. They look sweet. Like everyone else, I'm diggin' the table too.

Thanks guys, I love the way the chips came out.

JL- I'll try to find an original design. I did all the work on my laptop though, but I'll take a look tonight. I probably don't have any of the designs from when the radiant lines were dark, but I'll post the oldest one I can find.

Kalimba- Nevada Jacks is a one week turn-around from the time the artwork is approved.

I'd like to thank all of you guys that helped me with refining my design for these chips. I love the way they came out, and I appreciate you taking the time to comment in my original thread.

As far as the table is concerned, I love it. I used Junell's plans, and it wasn't that hard to do. It was my first time building one, so I could build another one a lot quicker. I started the table at 10:00am. Had a buddy help me from 11:00am-2:00pm. Then another buddy helped me from 4:00pm until we finished at 2:15am. Finished the table (without the polyurethane) in one day. It was a 16 hour day, but one day none the less. Like I said, my next will go a lot quicker.
