Very impressive chips, not to sophisticated, but they catch the eye, I prefer ASM's over Chipco's but after looking at your chips I'm starting to change my mind.

White Rings

Nice Chips!!! Did you work that white ring into the design?? Probably won't show wear and tear as quickly with the white ring already being there.

Thanks for all of the nice comments.

I knew that the white ring was going to be there, so the chip was designed with it in mind. Similarly, I avoided any radial design that would look like the edgespots were supposed to be lined up with.

The wine bottle design was really a kind of accident. I looked at a bunch of wine logos on the 'net and found a few I liked. Then I sat down with a big sharpie and a pad and drew a bunch of bottles and glasses. Scanned them, traced them, smoothed and stretched them and here you are. I am no artist, but with a simple design, it came out fine.

I don't want to sell sample sets, but I have a few extra and might trade - especially custom for custom. PM me.

Re: Bistro DeCarlo Chipcos

hello, i've posted this same request on a few other chipco posts...I'm putting together a custom chip website, and I was wondering if I put a picture of your design on my site? They look great!

Re: Bistro DeCarlo Chipcos

I saw this post creap back up - and even before I was a member of this forum, I remember seeing your chips over at the galley on HPC.com and I thought then and still think now that these are the best Custom Chipco's I have ever seen.

And I have looked at hundreds, so that is a big complement!

Thanks for the nice words. I like my chips a lot, but there are many other nice chipcos (on this board).

Re: Bistro DeCarlo Chipcos

Kudos DC...very well designed.

I would certainly consider a trade for a custom/custom sample set.

I think I can spare 5 chips.

Do you know if there's a ChipCo Owners Group out there.

Maybe we could petition X-Files to create a ChipCo Only section. Start a giant SWAP meet of sorts via this forum.

I would think that the ASM'ers and TR Kings, NextGens, etc would appreciate this type of segregation too. Am I hashing an old subject?

I frequent many forums that are hobby centric for me, like the AVS Forum which divides their subjects into types of equipment owned. It seem to work for them.
