OK, I finally finished oiling up my chips so I had to post some more pics. After oiling the difference in the Edge Spots and body color on the Lavender chip was much more noticable. These shots were taken with a flash so the colors almost seem neon!

Seems like those that weren't defective are of impeccable quality... too bad the rest couldn't be like that. Any update on the return situation?

Sorry to hear of the quality issues, but the non-defective chips, once oiled, look fantastic. Hard to believe a small amount of oil makes the colors jump out so much, and the overall chip look so much better. Good luck with the defective ones.

The chips look good, but in the pics they look more like Nexgen's than clay's

I went through them 1 more time and sent in 218. They should get there on the 17th and then I'll have to see what they say. Since I sent them in, I found two more green ones that should have been returned with mold defects. I'll see if I can get them to make two more.

I think it's because of the colored labels. We're not used to seeing colored labels on clay chips. I've already decided that if I ever get a custom set of clays I'll get white labels.

Wow, those chips are really sweet. I like the color scheme and the labels. That really sucks about how many messed up chips you got. Those chips will look even better if you use some mineral oil on them.

That's what it is Ram...I couldn't put my finger on it, but jackblack nailed it. Trust me, you're sitting a whole lot prettier in the chip department than me my friend.

I would keep the one missing an edge spot. Very strange that happened.

If I place an order, I'll tell them to mess up on the edge spots and make one denom a double spot!

Other than the messed up ones, I think they came out really nice!
