This prOn has been a long time coming. I was part of joshuadalton's 1st GB for MGK Blanks, just about a year ago. Josh did a great job stamping these, and I've had this set for about 2 months. I'm sorry for not getting pictures up sooner.

Work has been crazy lately, and I just haven't had time to oil and take pics. I finally got them oiled!!!! Before I tell you guys the story behind these, I have to thank a few CTers for making this set happen;
Tastic: Thanks for running the GB about a year ago! I'm planning on being part of the current GB, and adding on to this set.
joshuadalton: Thanks for all your work on this set; doing all the setup and hotstamping, working with J5 to make sure artwork would stamp well, and allowing us to purchase MGK blanks. It took awhile, but the final product was well worth the wait.
J5: What can I say? The man is extremely talented!!! Thanks for taking my idea and turning it into a reality!
So I started playing Hold 'em during Moneymaker Boom. I started playing "free poker" at the bars in North Denver, as a way to learn the game without investing to much $$$$$ in my poker education. Eventually, I got to know a lot of the regulars very well, which led to a lot of low stakes games at a few of the regular's homes. (It was a great way to get into private games, and 7 out of the 11 members of our Thursday Poker League know each other from that bar league) It wasn't too long before I acquired some poker gear, and began hosting games at my place. One night we were at the bar playing, when the regulars started asking "Where is the real game gonna be this weekend?" One of my friends blurted out "We're rolling to Andy's Palace!", and
the moniker was born. I liked it, and began sending texts for my games by saying "The Poker Room @ Andy's Palace". My friends just referred to my apartment by that name, and I still currently use it.
I first had the idea for AP customs back when I was living in Vegas, and BCC was closing to personal orders. I got a sample of MGK blanks from joshuadalton, and thought the mold was outstanding! I didn't know much about hotstamping, but thought it would be great for customs on a standard Vegas color set. Josh was offering MGK blanks at the time, but I my chip budget was running low that month due to a couple of other large chip purchases.
Fast forward to a year ago. Josh was offering MGK blanks again, and the idea of finally doing customs returned. Only this time, I didn't want to do standard Vegas colors. I already had two tourney sets that were Vegas colors. I was gonna get a Cali-colored set in the FDL/Grand Cardroom GB, before that fell through. I placed my order with Josh, and got TRK Lavendar for the T25, BCC White for the T100, TRK Lt. Turquoise for the T500, and TRK Fire for the 1K. (I know the 1K should be pink, but I had to have TRK Fire in a set)
I contacted J5 to do the artwork for the hotstamp dyes. I gave him a rough sketch, and he took my idea, and knocked it outta the park with his design!!
I wanted both Vegas and Denver in the hotstamp, since I have hosted home games in both cities.
As for the future, I'm planning on adding on to this set with the current MGK blank GB. That way, I could use this set for more than league nights. I'm also gonna add a 5K, with this current order.
Enough talking, time for pics!! Some of these are action shots from last Thursday's league night. The picture is a birthday gift from my girlfriend, and includes the skylines of Vegas and Denver. Enjoy the prOn!!!!
