I got 1 sample chip for free and then paid for a full spectrum of colors.

They are damn fine chips.

I'm not sure. I think I got one each of the color/edgespots. Some 'giant numbers' and some with the King's Crown inlay. Basically I told him to send me whatever he had sitting there that showed me the base colors for the 'set o' 9.' I think it was $10?

Under my 'remember it' threshold but $10 sounds right.

what is with those pictures of the custom kings? Were the chips oiled?

if you look at the pics of the chips in the case, you can see the face (especially the $100) looks very vibrant, while the edges look very muted/dusty....

Is that the case? Has that worn off? Just looks strange.

Those pics were when the chips were brand new. They are not oiled (I believe there are oiled pics somewhere else). When I got the chips the edges were dull and kind of rough. After some use they look like the colors on the face of the chips.

Monthly Request.

This is my monthly request for any $1 or less chips that someone might be selling from the TRKing Buy. Or if there is to be another buy, I want to contribute.

See this thread: http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2104

He's doing his own set, I'm getting a few to add to my set.
