When ASM had their 10% off special in January, I figured it was time to order the new denomination and complete my cash set. I was pleasantly surprised when I was offered the U-shaped edge spots as well.
The time table was longer than expected, most notably because I think ASM took the Roman mold offline while they were doing the 44mm A-molds. But based on the results, I think it was worth the wait.

Sorry in advance for the poor resolution and poor lighting. Without further ado, here's the new denomination:
The obverse is English (obviously) and the reverse is Polish... The words say the same in both languages. It took some work to get the proper translations (I worked with a Professor of Slavic languages at U.Pitt), then to get the accents correct, then to get Sandy to get them correct. All in all, though, I think they came out great. I'm very pleased with them.
No issues with "broken" middle inserts on the U-shaped edgespots, as I was warned could be a problem. There is a slight spinner problem, which I think is a characteristic of the mold. Also, the $1 chips have a problem with uniform height (nothing severe). I was told this is an attribute of 4a14 edgespots...
