Fear and loathing in las vegas (pr0n included)

I wanted a tournament set with bright colors, the taj colors from the uspc tournaments on espn were an underlying theme for this set. The other inspiration is the mint casino, cited in the books "fear and loathing in las vegas" and "Positively fifth street." I was thinking of doing really "psychedelic colors," but it's not exactly how it turned out. Anyhow, I'm thrilled with this set, just wish I got more. Thanks to suckoutking for his excellent hotstamping. To the pr0n...

Very nice and two of my favorite books. I hope you win lots of big pots with them.

Joe, can you post color details?

Also, do those orange and green have metal flakes?

SWEET!

Re: Fear and loathing in las vegas (pr0n included)

Thanks for all the compliments. Unfortunately, I don't have imageshack, I use photobucket. The pics on my computer are huge, but when i edited them to "website" size, they came out too small.

I will try to post better pics tonight or tomorrow. As far as the colors, they are asm's:

25 - dayglo green
100 - chocolate
500 - lavender
1000 - arc yellow
5000 - grey

So, yeah, some have the brass flakes and some do not. Also, the foil is the silver holographic, which I think looks awesome. Suckoutking convinced me to use the same foil for all chips, and I think that was the way to go.

The mint stamp is a great stamp imo b/c it is large and easy to read. Needless to say, I am very happy with how these turned out, a little oil on them and they will look even better.

SWEET Joe,

I love it when a plan comes together. Glad your enjoying the set. I enjoyed stamping it for you. Thanks again. I think it came out Great and the Silver Holographic Foil really sets it off.

SOK

Joe very cool chips. I reallly like the color combo. As for bigger pics on photobucket when resizing use the "for 17" monitor" or something like that option. Makes them a good size for threads.

Thanks, I think i will try that tonight, and replace all the pics. I didn't realize how bad they were until now, they look much better as larger pics, and of course, the chips are way better in person!
