Re: ~~~~~~~OLD ORCHARD Poker Room - ASM - (Lots of Chips, Lots of Pics)

Just wanted to say thanks for the trade and these are indeed even nicer in hand.

I had stated which were my favorites from the pics, but now that I have some the list has grown. Truly a gorgeous set. Love'em all!

I've now (figuratively) drooled all over the real thing.

All I have to say is these look SO MUCH BETTER in person than they do in photos.

The color match fade is spot on, the spot combos are insane and overall this is one of the hottest sets to come through CT in quite some time.

So, where's the voting for the next calendar??? I'm ready to place my vote.

Very well done, and thanks for the trade!

Thanks so much guys! And like I told you guys, I love both of your sets. I particularly love the inlay on the AZ Club chips, and Tim, you know that I am still ridiculously jealous over your T-Mold customs. I love chiptalk!

Still waiting for the other half of my Argyle set, at which point I suspect we'll be doing a trade. I love these chips sir, potentially the Evar.

I've already seen this chips, but when I came back to the thread a second time they are still great!

I think my favorite is the 25 cent.

(Smoking hot inlays and color choices also)

Where's the 'in action' porn?

Such a gorgeous set needs more exposure!

Sorry guys! May to early June is the worst time for me at work. I am busy at work and also studying for the CFA exam as well, which is about a 5 month self-study process that culminates around 1 6-hour test on June 7. So, all of my "free" time goes to that.

I've only gotten to play 1 heads-up game with the set so far. I plan on having a celebration poker game to reward myself soon after my test is over. Can't wait. Anyone who wants to drive to 46755 is welcome

Good luck with the exam!

I'd love to come to your poker game, but I'm afraid a cross-Atlantic trip is not within my budget

Damn you, sir. I had just started to forget about wanting a custom set.....and then you post these gorgeous, beautiful, amazing chips.

Damn you!

Congratulations nonetheless. However, a "lifer" set? hahahahaha--you are a comedian too, sir! All CTers know there is no such thing, unless you measure the "lifetime" of such sets by the life of a fly.

Actually, they will be a "lifer" set. I'm not saying I won't get another custom set sometime, but I can tell you I won't ever sell these, and they will probably be my main set for a LONG time (until more customs ). I know one thing, while I'll probably buy some Casino Paulson's here and there still, they'll never hold a candle to my custom's (to me, that is). I'm sure plenty of other ASM Custom chip owners would say the same thing.
