Re: ASM - 500 Scorpions set

That's a GREAT inlay! Took me a sec looking for the scorpion to get what I was looking at, but I figured it out (I'm one too). I love the denom placement as well. Very nicely done!

Re: ASM - 500 Scorpions set

These came out great!!!! The 5 & the 100 are my faves!!

When they are all stacked together you can't really tell the issue with the sedge spots, but I still get why you'd be upset.

Enjoy them
J

Same with me. I had no idea where the scorpion was in the inlay, until someone said it's just the tail. Great looking inlay!

Re: ASM - 500 Scorpions set

I liked the inlay design when it first showed up. So simple yet so bold! Lots of scorpions around here, so it didn't take too much to figure it out (the only critter that when it makes it into the control room at the observatory I have no mercy for... been tagged one time too many).

I'm also a huge fan of the non-traditional colors. Really makes for a remarkable set that is truly yours.

I, too, am sorry to hear about the spot problems (I got them too!), but I have to agree that when they aren't all lined up but randomly put into the stacks, they don't look quite as bad.

I think I've got it figured out, but would you post your color breakdowns so I can put the offenders into the list I'm compiling, as well as the good ones.

I think I see:
DG Green 214 white
Mandarin Red 314 Arc Yellow (?)
Imperial Blue 314 Yellow (the bad ones)
Black 4D14 Imperial Blue and DG Yellow
White 4D14 Arc Yellow (?) and Orange

Thanks for sharing the pr0n. Enjoy the chips!

Ditto. The variance always looks way worse when you stack them all together. Mixed up into the set, you can barely see them.

Re: ASM - 500 Scorpions set

I think the white spots are actually DG peach and DG orange.

Here is what you asked:

ASM 312IMPERIAL BLUEYELLOW50
ASM 4D14BLACKDG YELLOWIMPERIAL BLUE100

Congratulation, you did only one mistake with the blue chip 312 instead of 314 .
