Here is my ASM produced cash set, The Arizona Club. The (long, painful and filled with indecision) design process can be seen here:
http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/custom...t-mock-up.html
I had to wait a bit longer than I really wanted to because ASM had to make some more to fill in for some of the chips that didn't meet their quality control. Regardless, it was worth the wait (if not a little painful).
I picked them up at the office (so someone would actually be around to sign for them), ran them home. These shots nearly made me late for work at the observatory, so I hope you all appreciate it!!!
The standard "tease". Sorry... I didn't stalk the UPS driver like others have.
So, this shot is a little bit of a lie.

I ordered the cash set, but also got some add-ons for the Lounge set. I put them all in one box and the racks I ordered in the other for this shot.
For starters, my favorite of the bunch:
Of course, I had to pick one with an imperfect front side to take a pic of (didn't see it till I took them off the camera just a little bit ago). It was 88 degrees out and I wanted to get the outside shots done. In stacks:
The nickel was inspired by the great "C U Next Tuesday" set of Boondocker. I just had to....
The camera is sort of playing tricks with the edgespots here. I had a mix of natural and artificial lightning, and as a result, the imperial blue spots look two toned.
I've always loved the concept of a yellow with black spot chip... so here you go (actually, very vaguely inspired by the Crystal Park $5). And stacked:
You can see the split spots in these (as being lively debated in another thread). I haven't counted how many. I did notice them right away, and at this point have no strong opinions one way or another. Time will tell I guess.
Interestingly, the $5 spots aren't split like the black $1 ones are. For sure, something to do with the composition of the clay.
I'll get more and better pics later on. I just wanted to snap some to fend off you rabid chiptalkers. You might have figured it out soon enough if I hadn't.
Enjoy....
Oh, yeah. This one too!
Woohoo!!! I'm official now! 3U crew, here I come (as a note, these are indeed before they became generally available to everyone. Ordered mid-January).
In the beginning, ASM advised against this color combo. They were troopers, entertained my switch back to DG Peach after I had "settled" for orange. I;m glad I insisted. It took them longer than originally estimated, and even then pushed back a couple weeks as they had to go back and remake some of these to meet their quality control. Totally crazy and pretty darn remarkable. I think I may have found a new card capper!!!
Once again, the fine folks at ASM went
above and beyond (Cathy and Sandy for all their help and patience, yet again, with my changing and pestering, as well as Jim for agreeing to go ahead and make the 3Us with the colors I wanted, even though this likely resulted in a bunch of bum chips and entertaining the 112 spot). The inlay with the watermark turned out just as I had hoped and the hourglass is a wicked cool mold. I can't say any more good things. This is technically the third set I've ordered from ASM, and even though I tell myself I'm done (for now), I've already started dreaming up another set to be held in reserve for the day Jim breaks out the hub mold from storage....
